We are a family business that was jointly founded in 1989 by Erwin Marandiuk and Walter Kroneisl and is still managed by the owners. Through sound planning for the future and the constant development of new markets, Kroneisl-Stahl has now become one of the leading sheet steel wholesalers in Austria. Following the founding of our subsidiary in the Czech Republic and the opening of a sales office in Hungary, we have established our home market in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

In order to be able to competitively serve even large end customers, a considerable part of our turnover is involved in the drop shipping business – as direct deliveries from the mill without intermediate storage. This is made possible through our many years of close business relations with a large number of European steel mills, particularly in Italy, Germany and Eastern Europe.
